THE GYM & MARRIAGE 💪🏋️♂️ 💍 ⚭
As I push myself, I zone out pondering my form "Am I doing this correctly, am I making the effort, to the best of my ability, what am I leaning from this, learning about myself?" as I'm digging deep into the last few reps.
All this is the preparation of hours of researching the science and theory, putting it into practice, planning out the next workout, altering lifestyle habits, eating healthier, keeping hydrated, recovering, stretching and making time. Before the gym, making sure to ready the playlist, have a pre-workout meal/drink/snack and to get into the right frame of mind ready to give it my all.
Just imagine the dedication put into this? Yet what dedication, preparation, research, learning of the theory, putting into practise, life altering changes are you actually putting into your MARRIAGE? How often do you ponder "Am I doing this correctly, am I making the effort, to the best of my ability, what am I learning from this, learning about myself?" You'd so easily ask for a spot while at the gym, or ask a PT for advice.
So, when you are stuck or in a difficult situation with your spouse why don't you ask for help, to seek advice in what are the best things to do to better yourself within your marriage, and to better the situation with your spouse?
